Barrington Police are handling the roadway crash investigation, while Metra Police are examining the train collision.

Sex Assault, Strangulation Charges: Lake County Arrests (patch.com) — A 62-year-old resident of unincorporated Barrington is among several people recently arrested in Lake County, facing a domestic battery charge and an October court date. The roundup also lists separate cases involving alleged sexual assault, DUI, registry violations, and other offenses across Antioch, Waukegan, Deerfield, Vernon Hills, and more, with all defendants presumed innocent until proven guilty.
