SOUTH BARRINGTON, IL — A lawsuit has been filed against Encore Memory Care in South Barrington after employees allegedly recorded and shared videos of nude residents, according to the Daily Herald.

The lawsuit was filed Wednesday on behalf of Kristen Fisher, whose late husband, 73-year-old Bernard "Skip" Fisher, was allegedly filmed naked while lying in bed, the Daily Herald is reporting. Authorities allege caregiver Madison Russo, 25, of Hoffman Estates, recorded three residents without their consent between January and July and shared the footage with other employees through a Snapchat group.

Russo faces felony charges and has pleaded not guilty, while a second employee, Shannon Juarez, was arrested in late October and accused of sharing at least one photo, according to the article.

The facility launched an internal investigation after receiving reports of the alleged misconduct and subsequently fired six employees, including Russo.
