Arlington Heights Man Gets 10 Years for Home Invasion
Jarvis James pleaded guilty to a home invasion charge Tuesday.

A 21-year-old Arlington Heights man has been sentenced to 10 years in prisonafter police said he and three other men involved in a home invasion in Hoffman Estates last year, according to the Daily Herald.
James Jarvis entered a guilty plea Tuesday to home invasion, a class X felony, the newspaper reports.
Police said James and his three accomplices attempted to conceal their identity when their forced their way into a home in the 700 block of Bode Circle in Hoffman Estates, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A victim in the home recognized James’ voice and hair style from when the two attended Harper College together and was able to identify him, according to the article. Items taken included a wallet, XBox and Wii game consoles, and Wii games, the paper reported.
