We live in the village and no bus services are available. Walking to the High School is the only option even on days like today when students had to walk through 2 inches of water or when the weather was below freezing. My one attempt on a below zero day to drive closer to the high school resulted in a 60 minute trip from my home (2 miles) from the school. How can the high school ignore this problem and not try and coordinate traffic police or drop off solution? Today I watched as hundreds of kids walked through puddles and will spend the day in soaking shoes.
