Barrington Hills Man Charged With Attempted Murder in Schaumburg Hotel Beating

A Barrington Hills man has been charged with attempted murder and home invasion after allegedly beating a man in a Schaumburg hotel room Aug. 13, according the Chicago Tribune.

Joseph K. Stein, 20, of the 1500 block of Barrington Court, Algonquin, and Mitchell ATS Barnes, 19, of the 100 block of Algonquin Road, Barrington Hills, both are accused of entering a hotel room, beating the 43-year-old occupant and stealing his wallet.
