The Buzz about Bees with Green Drinks

Honey Lake Bee Co talks about their North Barrington apiary

What’s the buzz? Honey Lake Bee Co. of North Barrington will share all there is to know about bees at Green Drinks on Wednesday, August 21, 7:00 p.m. Join them at McGonigal’s Pub, 105 S. Cook St., Barrington. Local beekeepers will discuss their experience with these important pollinators, their apiary and the raw honey, natural beeswax candles and lip balm they produce by hand. Saturday, September 14, 5 – 10 pm - Ignite the Night! Join Citizens for Conservation at 361 Bateman Road, Barrington Hills, as they welcome autumn with a blazing bonfire under the full moon. Live music, native birds of prey, cookout from 5-8 pm including beer and wine , narrated horse-drawn wagon rides, stargazing with professional telescopes, educational flashlight tours for kids.
