Deer Park, IL, March 7th, 2014 – The Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble dancers exchanged their pointe shoes for bowling shoes on March 7th at Brunswick Zone in Deer Park, to support BYDE through an annual “Bowling for Ballet” event. BYDE’s 30 company dancers obtained “per pin” pledges and flat donations to support the event. BYDE dads also took part in the fun, bowling and fundraising along with the dancers. At the event, BYDE raised over $5,500 to support its 25th Anniversary Concert, to be presented June 13th & 14th at Barrington High School Auditorium.
