Dan Fitzgerald Files Over 3,000 Signatures – Tripling the Signature Requirement

Monday, November 27th, candidate for Cook County Judge in the 13th Subcircuit, Dan Fitzgerald, filed for the Republican Primary. The Fitzgerald campaign over tripled the 1,000 signature requirement, with over 3,000 individuals signing to get Dan Fitzgerald on the ballot.

Dan Fitzgerald’s experience and passion to improve the Cook County courts has caught the attention of voters. As an accomplished litigation attorney with over 25 years of experience in public and private practice, Dan is well prepared to serve as judge. Dan will be a tireless advocate to make the Cook County courts work for everyone.

“In talking with voters, I have seen a yearning for a judge that will be fair and impartial,” said Dan Fitzgerald. “If given the honor, I will be a hard-working, dedicated judge who will reduce the backlog of cases and give people their day in court. I will make Cook County courts work for all of us.”

Dan Fitzgerald is an accomplished litigation attorney with over 25 years of experience in public and private practice, including clerking under a Cook County Judge, serving as an Assistant Attorney General, and serving as General Counsel to multiple Illinois agencies. He currently works as Senior Counsel for Walgreens. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois, his JD from the University of Notre Dame, and his MBA from DePaul University. He is a lifelong resident of Barrington, where he serves as Barrington Township Trustee and Barrington Township Republican Committeeman.
