Driver Dies After Crashing Into Barrington School

BARRINGTON, IL - A driver has died after crashing into the Barrington Middle School - Station Campus Monday afternoon.

The crash happened at 2:22 p.m. when classes were in session at the middle school, which is located at 215 S. Eastern Ave., according to a village of Barrington press release. No students or district employees were injured.

The driver suffered fatal injuries after hitting the building, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
