Scarlett Sepe, daughter of Rachel and Michael Sepe of Barrington, was eight months old when she was recently diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. SMA is a terminal and degenerative motor neuron disease that affects the voluntary muscles used for crawling, walking, head and neck control, swallowing and even breathing. Currently there is no treatment or cure. Rachel has been a teacher at Hough Street school for 12 years. She and Michael have served the Barrington community in many impactful ways. Now, it's our turn to help their family.
