HE Parks Offers Perks for Moms on Mother’s Day

The Hoffman Estates Park District (HE Parks) is geared up to pamper moms in the community this Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13. Moms can get some activity in this year and reap the benefits of these fun activities:

Parent’s Night Out for Mother’s Day – Moms can get pampered a little early with a little time away from the kids when they take the kids to Parent’s Night Out on Saturday, May 12 at Prairie StoneTM Sports & Wellness Center (PSSWC ). The kids will work on a Mother’s Day themed gift craft in addition to participating in many activities including parachute and court games. Our indoor climbing wall will also be open for kids ages 4+ during this fun event! Pizza will be provided for dinner as well as popcorn for snacking during the movie. Registration is required in advance for this event and a per child fee applies.

Mother’s Day Skate – The Triphahn Ice Arena at 1685 W. Higgins road will offer free admission to mothers when accompanied by a paid child’s admission from 3-4:30 p.m. No registration is required.

Complimentary Workout – Members of PSSWC are invited to bring their mothers in to the fitness center without paying a guest fee. Moms can enjoy all the facility has to offer that day including cardiovascular and strength training equipment, gymnasium, indoor track, indoor aquatic center, group fitness classes, sauna, steam room and luxury locker room.
