The hot summer sun can wreak havoc on your pup’s paws.  Driveways, sidewalks, pool decks and more, baking in the sun, can cause burns to his paw pads causing the skin to slough off.  Also, more time spent outside in the warm weather can cause your dog’s nails to wear down much more quickly.  Keep an eye on nail length and condition of the pads this summer to avoid unwanted trips to the vet.
