Police Blotter: Rocks Thrown at Cars; Cosmetics Stolen From Mailbox

BATTERY 

Anthony A. Scarbrough, age 18, of 136 Sioux Ave., Carpentersville, was arrested for battery at 616 W. Main St., on Nov. 18. He was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of Dec. 12. 

CURFEW VIOLATION

Two 15-year-old male juveniles from Barrington and Carpentersville were arrested for school curfew violation at 616 W. Main St., Nov. 18. They were released and issued a Cook County court date on Dec. 22.

ROCKS THROWN AT CARS

A rock was thrown through the driver side window of a vehicle while parked at 110 West Northwest Highway, Nov. 21. Damage estimated at $350.

 

A rock was thrown through the windshield and driver side window of a vehicle while parked on Chestnut Street just East of North Cook Street, Nov. 23. No damage estimate was provided.

Unknown person(s) threw a rock through the rear windows of two vehicles parked in the lot at Wickstrom Ford, 600 West Northwest Highway, Nov. 26. No damage estimate was provided.

 

REVOKED LICENSE

Stephanie A. Powers, age 25, of 1413 S. Chestnut Dr., Round Lake, was arrested for

driving while license revoked and improper lane usage at Route 59 and Barrington Rd., Nov. 22. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Dec. 9.

 

Randall S. Oehlerking, age 29, of 139 W. Russell St., Barrington, was arrested for driving while license revoked, no valid registration and no insurance at Main St. and Cook St., Nov. 22. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Jan. 13.

 

SKATEBOARD STOLEN

A skateboard was taken from the bushes outside of Jewel/Osco, 150 West Main Street, while the teenaged owner was shopping, Nov. 23.

 

FACE CREAM STOLEN FROM MAILBOX

A resident in the 200 block of Tall Trees reported person(s) unknown removed a jar of Aquascoop face cream from a box inside the mailbox. Value of the cream is $135.

 

GOLF FLAGS STOLEN

All 18 golf course flags were taken from Makray Golf Club, 1010 South Northwest Highway, Nov. 26. Total value is $500.

 

CREDIT CARD FRAUD

A family member of a resident in the 600 block of West Russell Street reported their mother’s credit card was used fraudulently, Nov. 26.
