The Barrington Dance Academy Announces its Summer Term Program

May 5, 2014 — The Barrington Dance Academy, home of the Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble at 758 W Northwest Highway in the Barrington Foundry Center, announces its 2014 Summer Term program, running from June 9th to August 15th. The Academy will offer weekly classes for ages 3 to adult in styles including ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, and Zumba. For its youngest dancers age 3 to 6, BDA offers fun Creative Movement based classes with an exciting theme, music from the newest “Pirate Fairy” movie, and a no-hassle in studio recital at the end of the summer. Junior level dancers age 7-11 will have an opportunity to study ballet and jazz with weekly class offerings. Intermediate and Advanced students will have a summer intensive schedule with world-class faculty including classes in ballet, pointe, variations, jazz, and modern. BDA’s newest class offering is a Zumba class, which will meet on Tuesdays from 10:00-11:00, open to teens and adults for fun and exercise.
