Advocate Dreyer Welcomes Adult Psychiatrist

Abid K. Nazeer, M.D. has joined at Dreyer’s growing Psychiatry team at their Fox Valley Villages location.

Dr. Nazeer received his undergraduate degree from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, in 1996. He went on complete his medical degree at Frontier Medical College in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in 2001. He completed his residency at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2009, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Nazeer was certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2010. He also speaks Urdu and Hindi, and has staff privileges Presence Mercy Medical Center. His special interests include Psychopharmacology, medication management, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
