Annual Easter Egg Hop Will Return To Downtown Batavia
Activities for the annual Easter event include a petting zoo, raffle drawings, an egg hunt and storytime with library staff.
BATAVIA, IL — Get ready to hop into town as the annual Downtown Batavia Egg Hop will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 16.
A slew of activities — including, of course, an egg hunt — is planned for children and families the day before Easter. An event hosted by Batavia MainStreet and River City Church, the Egg Hop "is sure to be a great time," organizers said Monday.

- 10 a.m. to noon — Participating businesses will give out candy and prizes
- 10 a.m. to noon — Petting zoo at Peg Bond Center, 151 N. Island Ave.
- 10:15 a.m. — Egg hunt for kids 3 and under at Peg Bond Center
- 10:30 a.m. — Spring stories with Batavia Public Library at Peg Bond Center
- 11 a.m. — Bunny hop lessons with Batavia Academy of Dance
- 11:30 a.m. — Easter show with River City Church
- 12:30 p.m. — Raffle drawings at Peg Bond Center
