Batavia Blotter: Threatening Remarks to Supervisor, High School Fight and Other Disputes

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is a roundup of threats, disputes, fights and domestic reports from the Batavia Police Department blotter gathered from April 11 to April 29, 2013.

Threat to Supervisor—An offender made threatening remarks to his supervisor at Suncast, 701 N. Kirk Road, after he was removed from the floor for not wearing his safety glasses, reports said. The offender was directed to leave the property and not return.

Motorist Dispute—The victim, from North Aurora, told police that the driver of the offending vehicle cut her off, then threw an unknown liquid on her vehicle at East Fabyan and Thoria around 3:23 p.m. April 26.

Fight at Batavia High School—A fight was reported at Batavia High School around 7:24 a.m. April 25. Incomplete report—no further information is available at this time. 

Domestic Dispute—Two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation around 8:02 p.m. April 25 at Batavia Apartments, 1200 block of East Wilson Street, reports said.

Dispute—Two subjects were involved in a dispute around 4:52 p.m. Arpil 20 at the US. Post Office, 500 N. Randall Road. It was a verbal dispute that ended after one person left the location.

Domestic Trouble—Two subjects were involved in a domestic dispute around 6:34 p.m. April 20 at 1050 Lorlyn Circle, Batavia. No complaints were signed by either subject.

Domestic Trouble—Two subjects were involved in a verbal dispute in the Kohl’s parking lot, 251 N Randall Road, Batavia, around 6:04 p.m. April 19, reports said.

Domestic Trouble—Two subjects were involved in a verbal dispute around 10:12 p.m. April 19 in the 500 block of Cypress Avenue that ended when one of the subjects left for the night.

Domestic Trouble—Two subjects were involved in a verbal dispute around 1:31 a.m. April 20. In the 1300 block of Wind Energy Pass. Both left in the same vehicle.

Harassment—A subject received an unwanted telephone call around 4:43 p.m. April 18 in the 1200 block of Howe Street, reports said.

Disturbance—Two subjects were involved in a disturbance around 10:59 p.m. April 18 at the RendezVu, 1 E. Wilson St. Both subjects were issued trespass warnings but no complaints were signed.

Domestic Trouble—Two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation around 12:17 p.m. April 14 in the 1200 block of Woodland Hills Road, reports said.

Harassment—A victim told police that her mother’s boyfriend was driving around the parking lot of Jewel, 119 N. Randall Road, around 4:20 p.m. April 13. “The victim indicated she believed that the offender was not to be around her due to a previous incident,” reports said.

Custody Dispute—A custody dispute took place around 5:20 p.m. April 13 in the 1200 block of Surrey Road between the complainant and her estranged husband. The disagreement was over the time the son was to be returned to the mother’s home. Both accused each other of violating visitation orders. 

Threat—The victim reported that a family member has been leaving him threatening voice messages. Police directed the victim to contact 911 if he is approached by the offender and directed the victim on how to obtain a restaining order. The report was made around 9:45 a.m. April 12.

Domestic Trouble—Two subjects were involved in a domestic dispute around 2:05 a.m. April 12 in the 100 block of South Batavia Avenue, reports said. It was verbal only and the subjects went to bed for the night.
