Batavia High School Walkout: 'We Still Have A Long Battle Ahead'
Batavia High School students participated in the nationwide walkout against gun violence, but they say there's still more work to do.

BATAVIA, IL — Students at Batavia High School shared a moment of silence with thousands of students across the country Wednesday when they participated in the walkout against gun violence. The walkout comes exactly one month after 17 people were gunned down at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
During the walkout, students chanted "enough is enough," many of them joining arms in a show of solidarity. Other students held handmade signs that read "Change Could Have Saved Them."
