Notice is hereby given that the President of the Board of Education of
Batavia Public School District #101, Kane County, Illinois has called a
Special Meeting for Saturday, September 14, 2013 to begin 10:30 am at
the Rosalie Jones Administration Center; 335 West Wilson Street; Batavia,
Illinois. The purpose of this meeting is set forth in the following agenda.
1. Call to Order
- 1.1 Roll Call
2. Public Comments
3. Closed Session for residency appeal
- 3.1 Evidence or testimony presented in open hearing, or in closed hearing where specifically authorized by law, to a quasi-adjudicative body, as defined in this Act, provided that the body prepares and makes available for public inspection a written decision setting forth its determinative reasoning.5 ILCS 120/2(c)(4).
- Final action on residency.
5. Closed Session for discussion on specific employee performance
- 5.1 The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employee(s) of the public body or legal counsel for the public, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. 5 ILCS120/2©(1), as amended by P.A.93-57.
