Batavia Thefts: From a Bike Rack, Fitness Center and Tool & Dye Maker

Thefts can occur almost anywhere. This week in Batavia, the venues were a bike rack, a sports-fitness facility and a tool and dye maker. 

  • Someone took an unlocked bicycle valued at $250 from the lower-level bicycle rack at the Batavia Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave., according to a report filed at 3:09 p.m. July 18.
  • Someone took the keyless entry alarm remote, a vehicle key, house keys and an ID membership card at XSport Fitness, 81 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed around 3:50 p.m. July 17.
  • Someone took a variety of items with a total value of $750 from Royal Tool & Machine, 1209 Paramount Parkway, according to a report filed at 6:46 p.m. July 17. No other information is available from the report.
