Cops Have Person Of Interest In Batavia Steak And Shake Shooting
Police tracked down a gun and a car that matched the description of that involved in the Batavia Steak and Shake Shooting.

BATAVIA, IL — Batavia Police say they have a "strong person of interest" in Tuesday's Steak and Shake shooting after they tracked down a car and a gun they believe were involved in the incident. Police say they found a car that matched the description given by the victim at the Lorilyn Apartment Complex, not far from the 1901 McKee St. restaurant. They also found a gun in another nearby parking lot that they believe may have been used in the shooting.
The shooting took place in the parking lot of Steak and Shake after an argument started between passengers in the victim's car and someone in a red sedan, according to police. The victim told police someone in the sedan fired into his vehicle before fleeing and hitting a parked car.
A bullet hit the victim's left leg and he was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. He was later released, according to police.
