Criminal Damage in Batavia: From Vehicles to Lawn Furniture

Scraps, dents and damage, but most of it minor.

Criminal damage in Batavia between June 4 and June 9 included vehicles dented and scratched, lawn furniture and landscape lights.

Vehicle Door Damaged on Main Street—A small dent was made in the side of a vehicle door parked at Main Street and Roberts Lane, according to a report filed around 10:15 a.m. June 9.

Lawn Furniture Damaged on Illinois—A complainant reported that someone damaged some lawn furniture and trees on her property, in the 300 block of Illinois Avenue. The report was made around 3:48 p.m. June 8. There was no estimate of damage.

Vehicle Damaged in Smashburger Parking Lot—Someone scratched a vehicle’s driver’s side door in the Smashburger parking lot, according to a report filed at 4:28 p.m. June 6.

Vehicle Damaged in Randall 15 Lot—Someone damaged the front passenger side of a vehicle parked in the Randall 15 Theatre parking lot, 550 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed around 6:27 p.m. Scratches in a circular pattern were made in the door to the rear quarter panel.

Norcross Mailbox Damage Estimate: $20—Someone damaged a mailbox in the 600 block of Norcross Drive around 3:25 a.m. June 7, reports said. The cost to repair the damage was estimated at $20.

Landscape Lights Damaged on Lootens—Someone damaged landscape lights in the 100 block of Lootens Court sometime prior to 6:46 a.m. June 4, reports said. There was no estimate as to the cost to repair the damage.

ReMax Sign Damaged in First Street—Someone damaged the ReMax sign and post in the 900 block of First Street, according to a report field around 7:44 a.m. June 4.
