On February 28, 2012, our first annual meeting will be held at the Congregational Church in Batavia at 7 PM. We will meet in the Pine Room: enter from the south parking lot, walk to the end of the hallway, take the down stairs on the right to the Pine Room.
According to our By-laws, this meeting serves the purpose of electing Board members. We have nine members of the Board. We have three members whose terms will be expiring. Consequently, we will be electing three people to serve for a term of three years. All members in good standing may vote. If you are not yet a member, you may join at the meeting.
The mission of the Batavia Arts Council is to develop awareness of and interest in the arts, culture, and entertainment, as well as to create an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of individual artists and organizations devoted to the arts, culture, and entertainment in the greater Batavia area.
