Friday Feature: Jim and Jen with Dave Ramont

A longtime veteran of the local music scene, St. Charles singer/songwriter Dave Ramont has released four albums of folksy rock on his own, and three with swamp-grass band Dick Smith.

Ramont has also appeared on both of the recent Made In Aurora albums, organized in partnership by Back Third Audio and Kiss The Sky Records.

Jim & Jen

Jim and Jen is the new project from Kid, You'll Move Mountains/El Oso frontman Jim Hanke and wife Jen, formerly of Old Souls. Taking their varied, respective backgrounds and melding them into unique, harmonious results, their sound comes off far larger than the simple guitar and voices creating it. 2012 will bring a debut album and relentless performing.
