Celebrate the grand opening and dedication of the Peg Bond Center Performing Arts Pavilion with live music, refreshments and ribbon cutting. Bring a lawn chair or blankets and take in a variety of local talent performances, which begin at 2:15 p.m. with the Aurora Youth Symphony and includes a 5:45 p.m. performance by the Batavica Academy of Dance. Paddle boats will be in operation from 2-8 p.m. on the Riverwalk. The cost is $10 per half hour for a four-person boat.
The Pavilion will provide a venue for a variety of local musical groups, community festivals and dramatic presentations.
