Rising Star Theatreworks has been inviting individuals with special needs, and their families, to be our guests at our final dress rehearsal of each show since 2008. Our Special Night for Special Friends for our 2012 Summer Show, Legally Blonde: The Musical, is on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the (on the campus of ), 1400 W. Wilson St., Batavia, IL. The theater entrance is in the back of the school off of Wilson Street. There is no charge to attend this performance.
About The Show
Rising Star Theatreworks will be one of the first companies in Illinois to stage Legally Blonde: The Musical. Sorority girl and underestimated blonde Elle Woods doesn't take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School! Based on the hit movie of the same name starring Reese Witherspoon, this singing, dancing musical comedy became an award-winning Broadway sensation. Legally Blonde: The Musical will take you from the social whirl of California campus life to Harvard's Halls of Justice with our heroine and her Chihuahua, Bruiser. The verdict? This much fun shouldn't be legal!

To reserve tickets for "Special Night for Special Friends," leave a message for Nancy E. Hansen at 630-845-9165 or HansConsulting@aol.com. There are a limited number of wheelchair spaces available, so please indicate in your message if anyone in your party requires a wheelchair space.
Tickets will be distributed at the door the evening of the performance. Doors open at 7 p.m., rehearsal begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends around 9:30 p.m. (It is fine to come even if you can't stay the entire time.)
