This Batavia United Way inaugural gala event helps raise funds for agencies that help local residents. Through agencies and organizations like the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Batavia RSVP, Inc., Valley Sheltered Workshop, Elderday Center, TriCity Family Services, and many others, the Batavia United Way helped over 6,000 Batavians last year by providing more than $80,000 to local groups. With a goal to raise $150,000 this fiscal year, the Play It Again …Batavia United Way gala is an important event.
