Waterline Writers Open Mic Night Tonight at 7 p.m.

Do you love literature, poetry, drama? If so, come to the Waterline Writers open mic event on July 15 at 7 p.m. If you want to read, be sure to arrive by 6:30 p.m. to get on the list for a 3 minute reading slot! Whether you're a fellow writer or a fan of great writing you'll have a great time in our amazing venue—, the 16,000 sq ft arts center in downtown Batavia (160 S. Water St.,  Batavia, IL 60510).

On the Third Sunday of each month, from 7 p.m. to about 9 p.m., Waterline Writers invites writers, poets, storytellers, screenwriters, spoken word artists, playwrights, songwriters, and comedians to read from their novels, short stories, poetry, plays, lyrics, screenplays, spoken word, experimental work, multi-media work, stand-up comedy, etc.

Waterline Writers is committed to providing a place where talented published and not-yet-published writers can share their work, as well as meet and support other writers and fans of the written word.
