Happy 80th Anniversary to a Giant Fish at the Shedd Aquarium
The Shedd Aquarium celebrated its anniversary with Granddad, a 25-pound fish. The celebration included a seaweed-frosted cake.

Granddad, an Australian lungfish, and the Shedd Aquariumcelebrated their 80th anniversary together this week at a party with 100 staff and friends, including Australia's consul-general.
There was, of course, cake. And what kind of cake do you get a 25-lb fish? One made with smelt, shrimp and peas, and frosted with seaweed. (Click here for a picture; it's quite something.)
