Want To Have Breakfast With Santa? You Can Through The Park District
The Batavia Holiday Lights Trolley will run for one night only. In another event, children can sign up to have breakfast with Santa.
BATAVIA, IL — Holiday events with the Batavia Park District are coming up, and residents will have two opportunities to interact with Santa.
The Batavia Holiday Lights Trolley is gearing up for one night of fun on Dec. 10, and the following day, children will have a chance to eat breakfast with Santa.
Starting at 6:45 p.m., the trolley will take off from the Depot Museum, 155 Houston St., for an adventure through Mooseheart's Holiday Lights drive, a 1.8-mile-long route. The 12th annual light display opened the day after Thanksgiving and will run through Dec. 31 for people who can't make the trolley experience.

Ride attendees can bring letters for Santa and some cozy blankets to snuggle up during the open-air tour. Registration for the event, open to all ages, can be completed online through the park district.
The following day, on Dec. 11, children can share a light breakfast — which can include donuts, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice and milk — with Santa Claus. From 8:30 a.m. to noon at Shannon Hall, 14 N. Van Buren St., kids will have the opportunity to chat with Santa, who will give each a gift. They can also take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus and make a small craft that will be waiting for them at their table.
