Search For Batavia Man Missing In Montana Suspended
Police say the two-month search has been suspended because of a "lack of leads."

BATAVIA, IL — Authorities in Montana have suspended the search for a Batavia man who has been missing "under suspicious circumstances" since late April. Police say they chose to suspend the search for Paul Batson, 45, due to a "lack of leads," Chicago Tribune reports.
Batson's car was found abandoned in Reed Point, Montana on April 29 and emergency crews began an extensive search of the surrounding area. Using specially trained dogs, they combed more than 500 acres of mountainous terrain in the hopes of finding Batson.
The Stillwater County Sheriff's Office told Chicago Tribune that the search for Batson had "gone cold,' but that the would explore any new leads that came up.
