BATAVIA, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Sister Trish is a Wheaton Franciscan Sister who is dedicating 14 hours a day to make beautiful masks for people living in local nursing homes. She has made nearly 1000 masks thus far.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Because she works tirelessly to help those in most need during this crisis.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Sister Trish is a quiet, unassuming hero who is using her sewing talents to help keep people safe.
