Soup Tasting Returns In Person To Batavia After Hiatus
Thirteen local restaurants are participating in this year's event. A dozen of them are bringing soup, and one is bringing fresh bread.
BATAVIA, IL — For the first time in two years, Batavia United Way's soup tasting is returning to its usual state: in person.
After a curbside event in 2021, the Batavia United Way-hosted open house was put on hold in 2022. This year, it will take place March 15 at Bar Evolution and The Tea Tree, 27 and 29 N. River St., respectively.
Doors to the soup extravaganza will open at 6 p.m. Tickets, each $35, include 3-ounce samples of a dozen soups, accompanied by freshly baked bread and soup crackers. Drinks will be available for purchase.
