Suspicious Man Tries To Talk To Kids At Batavia Bus Stop: Cops
Police said the man drove off after the kids refused to get close to his car.

BATAVIA, IL — Police in Batavia are investigating what they call a "suspicious incident" that involved a man parking his car near a school bus stop as children waited for the bus Tuesday. Police say the man tried to talk to some of the children and drove off after the kids said they wouldn't come near his car.
According to police, the man, who was driving a small black four-door car, parked near the bus stop at the intersection of North River and Fayette around 8:25 a.m. He then opened his car door and tried to talk to some of the kids as they waited on their bus. Police say he was last seen heading northbound on North River Street.
The suspect is described as a tall white male in his 30s with short, dark curly hair and stubble on his face.
