Warrant Arrests: Batavia Police Nab Out-of-Towners Who Fail to Appear
The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police officers do more than their fair share of hard work, but they also help neighbor communities by picking up folks with standing warrants for arrest. Here are a few from the police blotter of March 7 through March 14:
Warrant Arrest—Batavia police arrested Marco Perez, 27, of St. Charles on March 14 for an outstanding warrant — “(Failure to Appear), driver never issued a license.” He paid 10 percent of $2,000 bond and was turned over to St. Charles police.
Warrant Service—Batavia police arrested Amos Bluntson of Alsip for a Cook County traffic violation. He was arrested March 12 in the 0-99 block of South Prairie Street and posted 10 percent of $5,000. He also was issued a complaint for obstructing identification. Bluntson has a court date of April 4 for the traffic violation and April 2 for the obstructing identification charge.
