• Arreola Receives WIU Presidential Scholarship 2027-28 (wiu.edu) — A Bellwood student, Emmanuel Arreola, has earned Western Illinois University's prestigious Presidential Scholarship, which will cover four years of tuition, fees, housing, and meals. The Macomb-based university highlights his extensive church, school, and work involvement, and his plans to study criminal justice and forensic psychology on his path toward becoming a criminal defense attorney serving underrepresented communities.
