15-Year-Old Boy, 14-Year-Old Girl Among Top Finishers in Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K

CHCAGO, IL Teens were among the fastest and fleetest runners in this weekend’s Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K, More than 400 runners took the streets of historic North Beverly.

The top male runner was 15-year-old Luke Pennix, who finished with a time of 18:33. Other top male finishers included:

• 2 -- Alec Sampson, 20, 18:40
• 3 -- Michael Griffith, 35, 19:10
• 4 -- Ryan Dunn, 23, 20:16
• 5 -- Tim Burke, 33, 20:25

Margaret Rivera was the top female finisher clocking 20:66, followed by:

• 2 -- Rhiannon O’Keefe, 14, 21:20
• 3 -- Sasha Villagrana-Frost, 29, 22:17
• 4 -- Madeline Travnik, 20, 22:17
• 5 -- Amy Taylor, 40, 22:40

The beneficiaries of this year’s race were the 19th Ward Youth Foundation and the John McNicholas Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Walkers followed the runners in an untimed 5K.
