A 17-year-old girl is in serious condition Wednesday evening, after being shot in the chest in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
The girl was outside a home in the 1300 block of 111th Street around 4:15 p.m. when she heard gunfire and was struck, police said. She is currently hospitalized, ABC7 reports.
