19th Ward Collecting Food Donations for Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry
Make local families' holidays a little brighter by dropping off canned goods and non-perishable food office at 19th Ward Service Office.
CHICAGO, IL -- The 19th Ward service office is collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food items through Nov. 30 for the Maple Morgan Food Pantry to ensure that all families have access to a high quality, nutritious holiday meal. In addition to canned goods and other non-perishable food items, the Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry is also accepting monetary donations to purchase additional products wholesale.
Donated food items may be dropped off at the 19th Ward service office at 10400 S. Western Ave. from 9 a,m, to 5 p.m., or at the 19th Ward’s Mt. Greenwood office, 3215 W. 111th St., 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry is located at 11030 S, Longwood Drive and serves approximately 1,200 families per month in the 60643 and 60655 zip codes. For more information about the food pantry, call 773-239-3013.
