2 Nabbed In 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Spree On South Side: CPD
The two suspects are believed to have robbed three convenience stores within a 45-minute time span early Friday morning, Chicago police say.

CHICAGO — Two men are in custody after they went on a 7-Eleven robbery spree Friday morning, police said. The suspects are of robbing three South Side convenience stores within a 45-minute period, in the East Side, Mount Greenwood and Beverly neighborhoods.
Around 1:36 p.m., police said two men armed with guns entered the 7-Eleven store on the 10700 block of South Ewing Avenue.
Just after 2 a.m. the 7-Eleven on the 3200 block of West 103rd Street was robbed at gunpoint and minutes later, the same suspects currently in custody entered the 7-Eleven on the 2400 block of West 103rd Street, police said.

Chicago police were able to track the suspects’ fleeing vehicle across the South Side with POD cameras and license plate readers. A short time later, police apprehended the suspects on suspicion of armed robbery in Chatham neighborhood on the 1000 block of East 80th Street.
No one was harmed in the robberies, police said. Charges are pending.
