2014 Mount Greenwood Fest

Enjoy the free childrens games, pet the animals, listen to the Dj, enjoy the music performed by LTD Band, watch as the Fire Department demonstrates the Jaws of Life and so much more. Then sit and enjoy some food from many of the food vendors, then Mom can shop at the crafters as Dad views all the cars at the Custom Car Show. Appearing will be the Palos Remote Control Air Show who will have two candy drops during the day and as an added attraction the club will have a flight simulator for all those who would love to be a pilot. There will also be a dunk tank and the proceeds from the this event will go to support ALS, this is the Mt. Greenwood Chamber of Commerce way of doing the Ice Challenge that has become so popular. Jim Nesci Cold Blooded Creature Show will perform from 2-3 so get your seat early for the show. The opening ceremony will be at 11:00 and will include St. Christina Scout Troop #617 which will post colors and join in with Rose as she sings the National Anthem. Local DJ Mount Greenwood Sound will be there all day to announce all the events as they happen.  The Mt. Greenwood Lions Club will have the Hearing and Eye screening bus available from 11-6 free of charge.  This is a great day to come out with your family and friends and enjoy a day of fun and relaxation.  Hope to see you there!!!
