22nd Chicago Police District Hosts 2022 National Night Out Tuesday

Join 22nd CPD police for National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 2, in Ridge Park featuring food, fun, games and more.

CHICAGO — CPD 22nd Dist. Commander Sean Joyce cordially invites 19th Ward residents to National Night Out, Tuesday, Aug. 2. The public safety event runs from 4 to 5 p.m. at Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Ave., featuring food, fun, games and more.

Learn about personal safety, watch demos and visit the Fab Fun Gaming truck. Most important, come meet your local police officers and neighbors.

National Night Out sponsors include the U.S. Army, CAPS, Sen. Bill Cunningham, Rep. Fran Hurley, Ald. Matt O’Shea, BAPA and the Blue Door Neighborhood Center.

National Night Out was introduced in 1984 as a police and community building event focusing on public safety. It is traditionally held on the first Tuesday night in August.
