If you have unused prescription drugs or expired over-the-counter medications, the 22nd District Morgan Park Police are offering a safe way to dispose of them.
While Chicago Police Districts offer drug dropoffs 24/7 throughout the year, many nearby communities are participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this Saturday, April 30.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
The Take-Back Day initiative also keeps pharmaceuticals from being flushed down the toilet or poured down the drain where the drugs can potentially enter the water supply or harm wildlife.
