3 Teens Stabbed Near Pulaski Road Shopping Center

Their attackers shouted gang slogans and set upon them Friday.

Three teens were stabbed near a Southwest Side shopping center in the 5200 block of Pulaski Road during a brawl on Friday, according to Cook County prosecutors, and the three young men accused in the crime face felony charges. Celso Jaimes, 22, of Chicago; Mario Queroz, 21, of Burbank; and Eugene Talavera, 23, of Chicago, are charged with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. They appeared in court Sunday and bail was set at $500,000 apiece.

Jaimes, Queroz and Talavera shouted gang slogans as they passed the teens on Pulaski. Queroz and Talavera each pulled knives, reports the Chicago Tribune. One teen suffered a collapsed lung, damaged spleen, a slice to his face and a punctured diaphragm, according to a prosecutor. A video camera at the shopping center recorded the attack.
