Alderman Wants Residents To Report Potholes and Tree Debris

Housekeeping notes for 19th ward residents.

Just fifteen more weeks and we’ll be back to snow and ice and potholes. If there are any lingering street craters left over from last winter, let Ald. Matt O’Shea’s office know about it.

The Chicago Department of Transportation is working throughout the summer to fill potholes throughout the city. Residents who notice a pothole on their block or someplace else are asked to email the alderman’s office at MattOShea@the19thward.com. Please indicate the exact address so it can be reported for repair.

Also, many residents do not realize that tree debris is not picked up by regular garbage crews. Instead, residents must report tree debris to be picked up at the 19th Ward service office at 773-238-8766 or by call 311 to have it removed.
