Arrest Made In Garage Burglary Caught On Video At 97th/Leavitt
Police arrested a Country Club Hills man in connection with a garage burglary that was caught on a home surveillance system two weeks ago.

CHICAGO, IL - Police in Chicago's 22nd District have made an arrest in one of the garage burglaries that were reported in the Beverly neighborhood last month. Keith Vassel of Country Club Hills was arrested and charged with burglary on Tuesday, according to police.
Vassel is accused of committing a burglary in the 9700 block of South Leavitt Street around 4:45 a.m. on May 26. In charging him, police say it was Vassel who was caught on a surveillance video approaching three garages on the block and entering one.
A community alert issued in late May indicated that the suspect caught on camera in the Leavitt Street burglary may have also been responsible for similar crimes earlier that month in the 9500 block of South Seeley Avenue and 1700 block of West 102nd Street, but Vassel was only charged in connection with the one on Leavitt.
