BAC Names 4 New Board Members

Mary Larkin, Andrea L. Nance-Moody, Stacey Recht and Willie Winters have been appointed to the Beverly Arts Center board of directors.

CHICAGO, IL – The Beverly Arts Center has four new members of its board of directors this year. Mary Larkin, Andrea L. Nance-Moody, Stacey Recht and Willie Winters were all named to the board this month, according to a news release from the BAC. The new members provide a variety of arts-related skills in fundraising and finance, marketing, and special events programming to governing and advancing the institution that is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018.

Larkin is the marketing manager for the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park, having begun her career in arts administration as an arts outreach intern at the BAC in 2011.

Nance-Moody is a senior vice president at the Northern Trust Company, managing the not-for-profit division of the Corporate and Institutional Services business unit. She is a former member of the Beverly Area Planning Association executive committee, a Girl Scout parent volunteer and active volunteer for a variety of legacy community events.

Recht directs capital campaigns, feasibility studies, development assessments, training and research projects as senior director for CCS Fundraising and is a member of Southwest Chicago Diversity Collaborative.

Winters is currently a director with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office RENEW program and the former executive director of BAPA.

“The Beverly Arts Center will greatly benefit from the talent and commitment to the arts that our new board members are bringing to the table,” BAC Board President Barb O’Malley said. “We are looking forward to adding their energy and ideas to our 50th anniversary celebrations and our long-term goals for advancing the success and growth of the Center.”

The four new members will join O’Malley, Ed Laginess, Ed McGunn, Katie Coderre, Andrea Zopp, David Fletcher, Jim Noonan and Jim Davoren on the board.
