BAC Screens Cult Classic 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'
Let's do the time warp again this Friday, Oct. 28, at the Beverly Arts Center. Costumes and props encouraged.

CHICAGO, IL -- If you’re a fan of the 1975 cult classic -- The Rocky Horror Picture Show -- or a Rocky Horror “virgin,” the Beverly Arts Center is offering one of the only viewings on the South Side at 8 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 28.
Costumes and props are strongly encouraged. Rocky Horror follows the adventures of a newly engaged couple, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, whose car breaks down. Seeking a phone at a lonely castle, the two encounter a group of strange and outlandish people attending the annual Transylvanian Convention. Soon they are swept into the world of Dr. Frank ‘n Furter, a self-proclaimed “sweet transvestite” from “Transsexual, Transylvania.”
For Rocky Horror virgins, there is a deluxe props set, including everything you need to participate and instructions on how to do it, for $10. Beer, wine and other fabulous drinks are also available for purchase.
Advance tickets for BAC’s showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show can be ordered online. Tickets are $9 for BAC members, $10 for non-members. Tickets can also be held on “will call.”
