BAC Screens Cult Classic 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' This Friday
See the show at its ONLY showing on Chicago's South Side Oct. 26 at the Beverly Arts Center. Props and costumes strongly encouraged.

CHICAGO, IL -- Beverly Arts Center presents the only South Side showing of the 1975 cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” this Friday, Oct. 26. The screening starts at 7:30 p.m. Come prepared to shout your best lines at the movie and bring an umbrella. Costumes and props are strongly encourage.
“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” follows the adventures of a newly engaged couple, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, whose car breaks down. Seeking a phone at a lonely castle, the two encounter a group of strange and outlandish people attending the annual Transylvanian Convention. Soon they are swept into the world of Dr. Frank 'n Furter, a self-proclaimed "sweet transvestite" from "Transsexual, Transylvania."
The bar will be fully stocked and free parking is available. For Rocky Horror virgins, there is a deluxe props set, including everything you need to participate and instructions on how to do it for $10. Prizes will be awarded to the best character costume.

Advance tickets for BAC's showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show can be ordered online for $11 ($10 for BAC members), or $15 at the door. The Beverly Arts Center is located at 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
