Bacon & Jam Now Open On 111th Street
A new neighborhood favorite has opened on 111th Street in Mt. Greenwood.

CHICAGO, IL - Bacon & Jam, the newest stop for breakfast and lunch in Mount Greenwood, is off to a fast start since taking over the former Magic Restaurant building right across from St. Christina Church on 111th Street.
In less than a month since it opened, the eatery at 3335 W. 111th St. has received 4.9 stars out of 5 from 77 reviews on its Facebook page. Many of the comments have welcomed the restaurant's fresh design, tasty food and the owners willingness to invest in the neighborhood.
The restaurant, open daily from 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., is owned by brothers Sam and Joe Maglaris, who grew up in the area. They tout the community atmosphere and how "everyone knows one another" as a fun part of running the business.
